Problems in Mainstream Science
Even thought the actual term came from Fred Hoyle who famously coined the term “big bang” in 1949 as a dirogitory term for the idea that the universe exploded from almost nothing billions of years ago. Hoyle fought the big bang until his death in 2001 but he was not alone. From its first inception came in 1927 the Big Bang has been under attack both as a theory and a physically given it’s origin is thought to be a singularity or very very small point in space. From critics asking “why” did it bang to how space and time could ever “expanding” or “inflate”, the concept of the Big Bang started from Red Shift.
Red Shift
The idea for the big bang came from an observation that the color of the stars were not the color we expected to see. In fact, they were “redder” than expected. This is known as the “red shift”.
When a firetruck passes you with its siren blaring, you notice a change in pitch when is passes. This is known as a “doppler” shift. The pitch of the song is modified because the siren producing the sound is moving.
So, it was thought that the “red shift” of all the stars in the sky must be due to the stars moving away from us. In fact, they all appeared to be moving away so the logical conclusion was to say that the universe was expanding away from us.
Observation Evidence
If there was a big bang, then we should see evidence for it in the universe. But what we see does not match a big bang, but matches more of a steady-state or life-death cycles of planets, stars and galaxies.
Conceptual Problems
Frontier. Before the big bang. What caused the big bang.
To critical thinkers and the science woke community, the big bang has many conceptual problems and “red shift” has a more likely explanation.
